SERVICES

Equus Design & Build have recently built a wonderful equestrian facility for me comprising of an indoor arena, stables and storage facilities. This included upgrading the existing entrances, roads, tracks and paddocks. The Equus eye for detail was clear to see from the initial planning stage right through to handover and they were eager to deliver exactly what I wanted. Their wealth of knowledge and experience resulted in a truly special project. Not only is the main building beautiful, it’s also practical and has the needs of the horse and rider in mind. The layout flows, it’s light and airy. The horses are extremely comfortable and most importantly, safe. The existing on-site groom’s accommodation was also completely renovated and transformed into a lovely home. The entire team at Equus were incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. They ensured that the project was completed on time and within the budget to a world class standard. I could not be happier with the result and highly recommend their services.

We worked with Equus Design & Build, throughout 2019 and into 2020, on the planning stages of a substantial private equestrian centre and on the construction stage of a small but complex residential project. The Equus team have always provided the most professional of service. They approach their work with commitment and with a very positive attitude. This has help us enormously in the successful delivery of these projects. Both projects have required a high level of ingenuity to overcome the technical challenges of complex site conditions and acute issues of stability with an ancient, listed building. These issues have been approached and resolved calmly, professionally and with great ingenuity by the construction team. Equus has an enthusiasm for his work which exceeds that of most in his industry. He is always one step ahead of the game. Combining this with his gentle & diplomatic approach towards his clients makes the successful planning & realisation of construction projects much more likely. Site works have always been progressed without delay and issues concerning valuation of the works have always been resolved fairly and without dispute. I would be happy to recommend Equus Design & Build as contractors for your project.

We employed Equus Design after a tender process carried out by Pike Smith and Kemp and appointed Equus to complete the design and build of the extensive equestrian works at Zacara Polo grounds. The works evolved through the design process to complete the total transformation of the Polo grounds which included extensive work updating the entire infrastructure. Landscaping one of the main issues we had on the project was the extremely high water table using extensive de- watering systems during the construction phase. All the communication with the Equus team was always pro active and concise. The works at Zacara included residential works and we are in the process of asking Equus to quote for works on the Owners own house Natalie Guest. Equus delivered the project on time in nine months from start date to an exceptionally high standard, I personally have been involved in high end residential project and the equestrian industry for many years and would not hesitate to recommend Equus for either. It is in my opinion the best equestrian facility I have seen to date.

We were looking for a home and found The “Bicester Heritage Centre” what we could not find was a one stop shop for Bespoke garaging that completed the design and build, there just wasn’t anyone in the market, Architects didn’t understand , Builders didn’t understand , we came across Equus a specialist fit out company by our chance and once the discussion started it was clear to me that Equus could deliver exactly what we were looking for, they were exciting and dynamic to work with giving us the look, feel, lighting and security we looking for delivered n time and on budget , Equus delivered the home of MR JWW.

I am writing this letter to personally thank you, Pete and your company for your commitment to the Brantridge Park project. For more than four years in which I was the client-side project manager (as part of K2 Consultancy), Equus Design and Build continually demonstrated high standards for quality and workmanship. Your work was performed in a timely and professional manner, always striving to deliver the best product possible and to meet the client’s expectations. From a personal point of view I appreciate that, despite the many difficulties we sometimes had to face, you always maintained a positive, polite, and helpful demeanour. It was a pleasure working with you and your staff on the Brantridge Park project. Your input coupled with collaboration with myself and the client’s husband was invaluable in our efforts to deliver the dream house and the facilities that the client wanted. I look forward to working with you and your team again and I would be more than happy to recommend Equus Design and Build to other clients who need quality services.
